Official Realme GT3: Features And Prices

Realme GT3

The last born in the Realme house is a model already seen in China with another name, but Realme GT3 remains an exciting phone with record top-up.

The long-awaited Realme GT3 was made official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. As widely expected, it is none other than the global version of the Realme GT Neo 5 already launched in China.

Its version has 240W fast charging, which allows you to have a 100% battery starting from 0% in less than 10 minutes.

Now the manufacturer is preparing to launch this smartphone globally, with a name from which the word ” Neo “, which usually characterizes the mid-ran

ge of Realme, disappears. The GT Neo3 aims to compete in the high end of the market, where the increasingly numerous ” almost top ” smartphones collide. All, however, at a price that looks more towards the bottom of the market than towards the top.

Realme GT3, Technical Characteristics

The Realme GT3 follows in all respects the already-known specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5 launched in China. Then we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the second in power in the American chipmaker’s proposal after the more recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 located on the recently announced leading premium-end smartphones.

To this, SoC Realme combines different memory and storage configurations. The new smartphone will be available in combinations of 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB and 16/512 GB and also in a ” special edition ” with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage space.

The 10-bit AMOLED display has a diagonal of 6.74 inches and offers a resolution of 1,240×2,772 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9. This display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 1,500Hz. She claimed 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.

The photographic sector is based on three rear sensors: the main one is the 50 MP Sony IMX890 with optical image stabilization (OIS) and f / 1.9 aperture, an 8 MP 112 ° ultra-wide angle and a third for 2 MP. At the front, right in the centre of the display, there is the sensor dedicated to selfies and 16 MP video calls, precisely a Samsung 5KP9.

A unique feature of this model is the ” Pulse Interface System “, i.e. an RGB LED positioned next to the island where the sensors are inserted, which changes colour according to the function being used with the smartphone at that moment. For example, during recharging, the LED turns red (for the first 80 seconds), then purple, and flashes until recharging is complete.

The LED also lights up when notifications or incoming calls are received. You can customize the various colors by choosing from 25 of these, the flashing speed and the latter’s rhythm.

But indeed, the prized piece of this smartphone is the 240W fast charging function which allows you to have 100% of the battery in just 9 minutes and 30 seconds, but the best thing is that 20% is reached in just 80 seconds. All in extreme safety. Realme, since obviously when a battery is charged at this power, it tends to overheat quickly, has inserted a 6,580 mm2 vapour chamber under the body, which the battery also keeps the SoC cool. This cooling system is also tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Realme GT3, Availability And Price

Realme has only revealed the dollar price of its Realme GT3 with fast charging, which starts at 650 dollars (about 610 euros) for the 8/128 GB version. The smartphone will be launched globally in two colours, Booster Black and Pulse White, and actual availability will vary from country to country, but it won’t go beyond June.
