Realme GT Neo2 is Realme’s new “almost top” smartphone that offers a lot of power at an affordable price: it looks perfect for young people.
Realme presented in China yet another product that could make large numbers on the market due to a quality/price ratio at the top, as is traditional for the Chinese company. Its name is Realme GT Neo2; it has not yet arrived in Italy, but if it follows the path of other Realme phones, it could very soon.
Realme GT Neo2 is a smartphone aimed at a young audience who cannot invest a lot in buying a new smartphone but at the same time is looking for a high-performing product, perhaps to play on the go. Realme GT Neo2 seems to respond ideally to this type of need:
- It is powerful.
- It has a lot of memory.
- Two of the three colors are designed for a “sparkling” public.
- Above all, it costs little about what it offers.
There is a display that looks promising in terms of quality and a massive battery. The formula of the Realme GT Neo2 seems to be the right one.
Realme GT Neo2, How It’s Made?
Realme GT Neo2 has a screen that comes from the factories of the world-leader Samsung. It is a 6.6-inch AMOLED unit with Full HD + resolution, a very high brightness (1,300 nits), comfortable even in the sunniest places, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 600 Hz touch sampling.
This last feature of Realme GT Neo2 seems an exaggeration. Still, it is fundamental for young people because it guarantees maximum smartphone responsiveness to the commands given in video games. There are few products on the market capable of going up to this value. The screen integrates the fingerprint reader for secure unlocking and a hole in the upper left corner, inside which the 16-megapixel front camera is placed for selfies and video calls.
The Realme GT Neo2 chip is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 with support for 5G networks and an eight-core configuration with a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz. This value guarantees high performance, and for this, Realme has equipped GT Neo2 with a cooling system very advanced that uses aerospace-derived graphene and a larger-than-ever vapor chamber system. According to Realme, this guarantees a decrease in temperatures up to 18 degrees centigrade.
The front of the Realme GT Neo2 cameras is equipped with three sensors on the rear surface: the main wide-angle is 64 megapixel, then there are an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle and one for taking very close (macro) photos of 2 MP. The battery is 5,000 mAh, and there is fast charging via cable at 65 watts.
Realme GT Neo2, Prices And Availability
Realme GT Neo2 is available only in China from September 27 in three colors: a shaded but rather classic black and the whimsical blue and Black Mint.
Four memory configurations are foreseen: starting from about 315 euros at the current exchange rate for the “base” with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space up to almost 400 euros for the 12 + 256 GB one.
When it arrives in Italy – and it is probable – between taxes and import costs, it will undoubtedly cost more.
